Dr Ghura has a great '' bedside manner''. This is backed up by exceptional operating skills; both my wife and I had suspected cancerous tissue removed ( my wife near her right eye ). It is virtually impossible to see any scarring. We are very grateful to Dr Ghura.

Dr Ghura was kind and thorough. He explained things carefully without being condescending. His surgical skills were outstanding. I have no visible scar two months after removal of a sarcoma from my face.Although the lesion was very close to my eye i felt no fear in his capable hands

I had had a bcc removed from above my eyebrow by a different surgeon, but the biopsy results showed a very narrow clear margin and that it was an infiltrative type. I was referred to Dr Ghura for consideration of MOHs surgery. Dr Ghura talked me through the options, his knowledge of skin cancer and experience of performing MOHs surgery gave me confidence in his advice. He was also aware that whilst removing the cancer was the key outcome, it was also important to achieve the best cosmetic result. I was apprehensive on the day of surgery but Dr Ghura’s calm approach greatly helped. He explained what was happening throughout and answered all my questions. Apart from the initial discomfort of the local anaesthetic, I was not in pain and the whole procedure was carried out in a calm, considerate and professional manner. The aftercare has also been excellent. Be prepared for a rainbow of bruising especially if you’re having this procedure near your eye. But following Dr Ghura’s advice about massaging the scar twice daily and using sun block, 6 months later I have absolutely minimal scarring.

I had excellent treatment from Dr Ghura who was very professional and reassuring. He always responded quickly when contacted and spent as much time as I needed explaining various treatments and answering our questions. I would not hesitate to recommend him to others.

I have had several bits of surgery, as well as Mohs treatment, on various basal cell carcinomas carried out by Dr. Ghura over the years. All treatments received were completely successful. He has shown great empathy in my dealings with him and he has always taken great care to ensure that any treatment I received was not painful. A personable and friendly doctor who builds a relationship with his patients.
